IMME 2008
Thiess India participated at IMME 2008 (International Mining & Machinery Exhibition) which was held in Kolkata during Nov 5-8th. The event was a success and the Thiess India booth was visited by many and appreciated. Coinciding with IMME, the Global mining summit was also held at Kolkata where Thiess India’s country Manager Chris Forsterling spoke on “Key Challenges in Developing and Operating captive coal blocks in India”.
The Honorable Martin Ferguson AM MP, Minister for Resources, Energy & Tourism, Govt. of Australia attended this exhibition and visited Thiess India’s booth. The Honorable minister also had a separate one-to-one meeting with Thiess Pty Ltd’s Bruce Munro, Chief Executive Asia Operations and Chris Forsterling, Thiess India’s country Manager.
