Mining
Thiess is the world's largest supplier of outsourced
mining services. As a full service provider, we offer
total mining solutions.
Worldwide, Thiess mines more than 67 million tonnes
of coal and eight million tonnes of ore, and moves about
445 million cubic metres of overburden per annum.
We operate a variety of coal and metalliferous mine
sites across Australia and Indonesia, and are developing
a large greenfield coal project in India. We move more
than three million tonnes of material per day.
